The staff member who greeted me at check‑in was friendly and very courteous, and the location was great for sightseeing with a charming old‑house atmosphere. However, the room was tiny and the walls were thin, so opening the door or speaking softly could be heard in the next room; although the toilet and bath were clean, sharing them makes the high price feel unjustified, and simply “experiencing an old house” doesn’t merit that rate. Breakfast cost ¥1500, which seemed pricey for what was offered, and the post‑breakfast coffee cost an extra ¥100 rather than being complimentary. Moreover, despite being called a twin, the space is far too cramped for two people at that price and would be more appropriate for a single guest.
