The resort sits right on the beach and most bungalows face the sea. It’s simple but has everything you need. A fresh sea breeze usually keeps the fan handy enough on calm days. Koh Libong is very quiet during the rainy season, which I like! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Because the beach directly at the resort gets dirty from the currents, I recommend swimming at Panyang Beach on the leeward side of the island. A major downside, though not the resort’s fault, is the awful pollution in the Andaman Sea. The beach is full of endless trash and the water is littered with debris. With heavy rain and onshore wind, brown foam also appears on the surface, so I didn’t want to go in because I feared getting sick. Unfortunately, the breakfast was also not great! Often there was only an indistinguishable rice soup or toast with jam to choose from. When the hot food ran out, nothing was replenished. No fruit or second dish was offered. I would give the breakfast less than one star.
