The chalet was excellent, with high‑quality, comfortable amenities. Breakfast was served on the chalet balcony, offering several hot dish options, and it was plentiful and tasty. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Two things bothered me a bit: the pool, though beautiful, was surrounded only by grass, which felt a little off, and the lack of transport. The lodge sits at the end of a street and at night you have to walk through a dark stretch; for solo travelers without a car, this place isn’t ideal. Even though the owner was very accommodating, I felt stranded, which hurt the overall experience. To go out for dinner you must pass that dark area, and the lodge is on Porto da Rua, a bit far from downtown Milagres for those without a car.
