The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and it was a great value.

The bathroom tiles were buckled and unpleasant to walk on barefoot, but everything else was fine.

The Center Street Value Inn turned out to be a nightmare. Arriving late at night after a long trip, we were met with a construction zone masquerading as a hotel, complete with noise and dust. The next morning, while I was out, the manager called to say we had to move rooms because of a “mysterious issue.” Later that afternoon, the front desk claimed the problem was “resolved” and that we didn’t need to move, yet we insisted on relocation. The clerk, appearing confused and uninterested, told us to wait for the manager, and we waited over two hours for a manager who never showed up. The disrespect and incompetence were unbelievable. We decided to leave. On our way to collect our things, the hallway was littered with construction debris—dust, dirt, broken materials—and workers, covered in filth, ran back and forth like a chaotic site. Our window screen had a new hole that wasn’t there before, possibly letting in something. Inside the room, the scene was so revolting that I’m still stunned.

The room had cobwebs, breakfast was advertised but not provided, there was no Wi‑Fi, and the vending machines were broken.
