The location—isolated high up in the mountains—requires a car to reach. Breakfast and dinner were great, not pricey, and there were plenty of hiking trails that reminded me of Yosemite. The rooms were okay but basic, lacking bathroom or shower shelves for toiletries. The staff weren’t very friendly, but not unfriendly.

The view is fantastic, trails are nice, staff are good, food is good, yet the beds and furniture are too hard; I’d love more comfortable seating on that amazing terrace overlooking the mountains.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is dreamlike, the food is delicious, but we were stuck in a very dark room with a view of a stone wall, the window barely opened, and the drive to the hotel is a challenge with many turns on a bad road.
