“Lovely hotel and staff”

The rooms were spacious and the staff were helpful, plus there was a free bottled water and a social drink at 5 pm. The downside was the area itself isn’t the safest, so walking around at night felt a bit uneasy.

The room and the complex were beautiful, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The Happy Hour was a pleasant surprise, and the front desk guys were always very kind. The problem was a “Guest Amenity fee” that I had already paid in my original booking; the receptionist confirmed it was charged. Because the tax wasn’t included in the first transaction, I had to pay the full fee again and chase a refund, ending up with an extra $58.66 in American dollars while the receptionist couldn’t figure out how to just charge the $9 tax. ☹️

“Too noisy”

The hotel sits in a neighborhood that vibes with black music, but the nights are noisy because of all the music and a train that rattles through with creaking sounds all night; the jem is very basic and there's no comfortable spot to sit and work on a laptop.
