Even though I arrived at 3 am via Fuji Rock, the staff didn’t look annoyed and handled me politely. Thank you.

The staff at the ryokan were incredibly kind, but there was a private bath that lacked a shower head.

The ryokan, though aged by time, still carries the charm of old days.

They happily accommodated my last‑minute request, and the 24‑hour onsen was very quiet, clean, and the meals were lavish. However, every mixed‑gender onsen was private, a car was parked right in front of the ryokan giving the impression that guests weren't a priority, the staff were polite but lacked warmth—initially a bit scary, though not unpleasant enough to make me want to leave. The staff at another hotel I stopped by afterward were noticeably friendlier, which highlighted the difference.

It’s close to the bus stop and has a nice private onsen, but it’s far from downtown and the staff can’t speak English, making communication difficult.
