Our stay at Mes Amis Beach Guesthouse was truly special and ranks among the best experiences on our South African trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly comfortable. The location right on the sea is dreamy—feels like a secluded spot for a few days. The sound of the waves, the beautiful surroundings, and the warm atmosphere make Mes Amis a place you don’t want to leave. What really set our stay apart were the hosts. Their warm, personal, and unobtrusive style immediately won us over. It’s clear they genuinely care about guests having a good time. Our room was gorgeous, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Especially in the mornings, the vibe was incredible: wake up, see the sea, then enjoy a lovingly prepared breakfast—there’s no better way to start a day on the Garden Route. Mes Amis embodies everything a perfect guesthouse should be: exceptional location, beautiful rooms, heartfelt hosts, and that special feeling of being truly welcomed rather than just staying somewhere. We would book Mes Amis again anytime and wholeheartedly recommend it. A true gem in Wilderness—and definitely one of the places on our South Africa trip we’ll remember for a long time. ❤️🌊
