The location was convenient and the staff were friendly with clean rooms, yet the cafe was awful—only instant coffee at breakfast because the machine was turned on in the afternoon, and the staff didn’t try to fix it; we skipped breakfast and any meal there for the entire five‑day stay, losing a lot of business.

Situated right on Dal Lake, the hotel was crowded and I was given two lower‑floor rooms at the extreme end with poor views, told that better rooms were only available through direct booking; despite selecting rooms with breakfast, the hotel denied me breakfast and added an extra charge for an additional person, refused to refill bath gel cans, and ignored cleaning requests while we were away because they only clean when guests are present.

The view of Dal Lake was excellent, the food was good, and the staff were helpful, but my motorcycle was moved to another spot without notice and retrieving it early in the morning was difficult; it seemed parking was managed by a third party and the hotel had little control, which is disappointing for a premium property.

The location is right on Dal Lake, making it very convenient to wander around whenever you like; there are plenty of dining options and a good shopping area nearby, and I couldn’t find anything major that I disliked.

The property far exceeded our expectations. It was safely located on the main tourist avenue – the boulevard by Lake Dal. The building was very well maintained. The restaurant, terrace, and café were all high quality. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The hotel manager deserves recognition for his care of guests and the property. It was a fantastic place for us
