Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo

The hotel is of average quality and a bit disappointing for a Steigenberger; it’s close to the museum but impossible to cross the road without the shuttle, and the taxi service is much more expensive than at the hotel. The restaurant is disappointing, the room with a museum view is very noisy, and the road traffic is loud.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place; the views were incredible and it’s just a few steps from the museum. The hotel is gorgeous, spotless, and the staff are outstanding, helping us with everything we needed. I have nothing I didn’t like.

“Nice bed, nice pool, maintenance needed and staff incompetent and slow”

Bed is comfy. Lifts broken, shower broken, lizards running on inside of hotel, slow bar service unable to put things on the room to pay at the end. Hotel reception staff put 2 of our suitcases on the wrong tour bus and then couldn't get hold of the bus driver so our taxi had to race across to the airport at speed to catch the bus driver before he left the airport. They also did not have the taxi ready when we came down at 4am despite me booking it the night before and then assuring it would be here. They also did not tell the driver if paid 80 usd to the hotel the night before, with a receipt, i had to prompt them twice to do so. Reception staff absolutely incompetent
