We loved the view—it was absolutely gorgeous. The location is a bit meh—right next to the old town, but there isn’t much to do there beyond a 40‑minute stroll of the strip. The shower pressure was the best we’ve had in Thailand. Check‑in was weird; we had to call the host to be let in and we were a bit freaked out by the other guests. Maybe it was a coincidence. Other than that it was lovely. Not the cleanest, but also not dirty.

The terrace view was nice. Too much noise from the neighbours, kids crying early in the morning, a window facing a neighbour’s unplastered wall, and water leaking from the neighbour.

I stayed at a place that was in good condition, all new, quiet and away from the city center. If you have trouble sleeping because of noise, there’s a nearby mosque that turns on a speaker at 530 am, and since the hotel is on the sea, the waves can be heard when the tide is high.

The hotel was almost new, clean, with air conditioning, and it also has a very large covered terrace with sea view.
