“Avoid staying here - COCKROACHES!”
The staff were friendly and there’s a great food spot just across the road, and the location is close to the bus station. I don’t recommend booking this place. First, the location listed is completely wrong. Second, when we arrived the staff weren’t expecting us; it seemed like a third‑party manager had set the price, and there was zero communication with the on‑site staff. Third, we had asked in advance about laundry, which was confirmed in chat, but the staff told us they didn’t offer that service—luckily there are cheap laundry options nearby. Fourth, the chat was responsive but the people running it were unhelpful; we tried to confirm we were in the right place after the staff were surprised by our arrival, but the location differed from the listing and they offered nothing. Finally, when we got to our first room we found two large cockroaches and dirty sheets; we asked to move and the staff did so quickly, but the second room also had cockroaches and the sheets were still poor. There was a filled ashtray and a pack of cigarettes in a drawer, so the room smelled of smoke. We only stayed one night, so we just carried on, but for a longer stay we’d find somewhere else. If you really want to stay here, don’t bother with the listing—just turn up and book a room to save money.
