“peaceful”
Front desk lady was 5 stars, and the room was fine except the nightstand edge material was missing and the old dresser table looked dated. Management knows the rooms need updating, but if I ever return to Redding I’d book a night here just for a bed and a shower. I kept quiet and ate the motel’s food, and the person who cleaned before I arrived did an excellent job preparing the room. The furniture feels really outdated—probably from the ’80s—but I didn’t mind after a 12‑hour drive and another 6 hours to get home.

I was disappointed with everything; the room we got hadn’t been cleaned, and after I complained they gave us another one that still lacked a fridge, a coffee maker, one towel (which I had to request), soap, shampoo and conditioner. The reception finally handed over soap and shampoo, saying they didn’t have conditioner. Overall the hotel is very old and the condition of everything is terrible.

The building is in severe disrepair. There’s no fridge, no microwave, and homeless people wander around.
