I’ve been here three times; the spot’s great—just a stone’s throw from the main sights. The rooms are tight, but you can still move around. I love the cafés for dinner and the shops that let you stock up for breakfast. One gripe: we really wanted tea or coffee in the mornings and evenings, had a kettle but no cups.

A friendly and responsive staff made my stay pleasant, and the location is great—everything from attractions to restaurants and shops is within walking distance, plus there's easy access to the highway nearby. The only drawback was that my room was on the very top floor and had a sloped ceiling, so taller guests might have to lean a bit when getting into bed.
