Quiet and pleasant, but the service was poor and expensive.

The place looked nice at first, but it wasn’t well maintained; the pool was filthy. We had to be moved to a different room twice—once because the original room was full of flying ants, and a second time because there was a shower blockage that flooded the whole room with water. There were almost no staff members at the hotel, making it hard to communicate with anyone who was there. They promised us a refund for one night as compensation, but we never received it; even after they sent the confirmation, the credit card number didn’t match. When I called them, they told me to talk to my bank. It was unreasonable and unprofessional. On top of that, there was no music, no food offered, the road to the hotel was full of stones and difficult to travel, and it was remote.

The staff were friendly, and the location was right on the beach with beautiful sunsets and a quiet vibe. The pool was nice and partially covered, and there were plenty of loungers and some shaded spots. We initially got the wrong room—a double instead of a suite—then after asking, we received the suite, but it hadn’t been cleaned beforehand. In the suite, a staircase led to an unfinished, dirty roof terrace. Overall, the whole property felt unfinished and construction was still ongoing. At night, large ants would come out of the wooden furniture. They offered us a different room on the ground floor, but we declined, so we can’t say if it was better. Getting there involved a steep, unpaved stone road. When we asked for a taxi at checkout, it wasn’t possible because the receptionist didn’t have a phone. No solution was offered, and we were disappointed that there was no working phone at the reception.

When we arrived, the bathroom was full of ants, but I told the staff and they moved me to a better room with no ant problem. The path to the hotel is complicated, and the hotel feels unfinished with many missing items.
