Beautiful and spacious suite with a view of Lion's Head. Very comfortable bed. The suite was much bigger than expected, tastefully decorated and perfectly clean. Really enjoyed our stay

The Residence suite blends nicely with the Taj Cape Town, but the view is blocked by the opposite apartment block. I mentioned a few room quirks to the staff, and they were fixed right away.

The room is spacious, and the gym and pool are great. Parking, however, is a hassle.

The hotel sits right in the business district, which is super convenient for work trips, and the food is as good as any Taj. Service is solid, except for the check‑in process. Check‑in starts at 3 pm, but most international flights arrive early in Cape Town, so with two toddlers we had to wait an eternity for a room. The pool is underwhelming, with nothing on the property to talk about—more suited to short business stays than a family vacation.
