“Horrible”

The hotel was supposedly a 4‑star place, yet it was filthy and the staff were rude from the moment we arrived; the bed was infested with bugs, the air conditioning was broken, and the furniture was in bad shape. The food made us sick, even the coffee cost extra, and the sea view we booked was not there— the beach was rocky, not sandy as advertised. Our rooms were far from the restaurant and the beach, and they never provided water in the rooms. Mosquitoes were everywhere, and my sister developed an allergy from the bed, while all of us suffered stomach aches from the meals. The price was high for the poor service, especially since we stayed a week and thankfully did not stay longer. The kitchen in the room was disgusting to use, and the kettle was also bad. They kept opening all rooms for reservation, so when a group arrived they couldn’t find available rooms. Check‑in was normally at 2 pm, but we received our room at almost 6 pm and were exhausted. There was no Wi‑Fi anywhere. I would advise anyone to look for a better hotel.

The room looked nice and the complex itself is pleasant, with good air conditioning and a few mosquitoes, and the terrace was also nice. However, the staff never entered the room to replace pillows or change linens even after receiving a bonus. Employees were unpleasant, except a few. If you want to sit on the beach and drink beer, you can forget it because either it’s not available or it’s too hot. The food was mediocre, with breakfast the only decent option. There are a few bars that charge, and if you make a mistake they’ll let you know. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the city, so if you plan to go to the center for a few days it will cost you for transport and they won’t inform you. Don’t spend more than 5 dollars in one direction; the same rule applies to nearby shops.

“HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE A FUIR !!”

Nothing, a terrible experience! Perhaps the view from the beachside buffet and the ARENA restaurant (paid, beachside, and quite good, fortunately!) were the only positives. The hotel looked nothing like the photos on Booking. From the moment we arrived we felt uncomfortable; the vibe was odd, the staff were very cold and not at all welcoming, and we were not greeted properly. No explanations were given, the front desk person struggled to locate our reservation and offered no clarification. Once we got our room, it was a nightmare! The room was filthy, the bathroom and kitchenette were a disaster, as our photos show. We were supposedly assigned a deluxe room – a big disappointment! Dust everywhere, sheets touched by blood, a disgusting microwave, a clogged sink, hair everywhere, and the towels were disgusting (black and old). We complained at reception, they looked up at us and asked “what’s the problem?” My partner showed the photos. They seemed outraged, but they did not change our room or offer any financial compensation. They supposedly would clean again that evening, but NO ONE CAME, obviously! The towels were never changed during the stay. We did not have a pleasant end to the trip because of this. The pools seemed dirty and poorly maintained, so we didn’t dare swim. Also, the hotel was in full renovation, the common areas were dirty, and there was constant noise. I would not recommend booking this establishment, which in no way reflects the friendliness and hospitality of the Egyptians.
