The staff were very welcoming; we arrived a bit late, the kitchens were closed, yet they still prepared food for us. The food was very good with generous portions, and we were able to rent a scooter on site. Occasionally the Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the room.

Excellent facilities and very quiet location. Tasty, affordable food in large portions. A big, very clean pool. Scooter rental was arranged smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helpful—thanks to Maribel and Matthias for a very nice stay. We’ll definitely come back. The mattresses were a bit too soft, but that’s a matter of taste.

The resort was fantastic, giving me a perfect 10/10 rating.

Our stay at Annabel Resort was hands‑down the best we’ve had anywhere in the Philippines. The rooms were tiny but spotless, and the shower delivered warm water without a hitch. The site itself is gorgeous, offering sweeping views over the rice paddies, and the staff—especially their dog Lili—were always ready to help. We rented a big scooter for 600 peso a day, and the village is just a 1.5 km walk away with a few shops nearby. The food, however, stole the show; it was easily the finest we’ve tasted in the country, far better than many restaurants elsewhere. Every dish was delicious and the portions huge. For breakfast, the Anabel omelette is a must‑try—you won’t find a better one anywhere, and I ate it daily for several mornings. We also sampled cordon bleu, schnitzel, pizza, burgers, chicken, curry, an English breakfast, and pancakes. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; Tablas Island remains a relatively untouched gem, and Annabel Resort is the top spot to stay. We hope to return, mainly to have that omelette again. ❤️❤️❤️
