“Huye de aquí hasta que limpien”

The bed was comfortable and the towels were clean. The air conditioning was powerful. The caretaker was friendly but barely spoke English and was overly attentive, so we didn’t feel private. The entrance ramp is muddy and dangerous unless you’re a motorcycle pro. A pack of dogs will bark at you—my girlfriend was quite scared, though I’m not. The room is spacious but has low ceilings and smells damp; it’s cleaned very little. There’s a hippie vibe but only one coat rack. The pillows are as thin as paper. The common area has four chairs occupied by dogs, and cats eat on the table. The wet dog smell is intense. The beach is rough with waves during the rainy season and littered with plastic—really disappointing. The price is outrageous for the quality. I’m sorry for this place, but until they update and truly clean, nobody should pay €28 per night when there are cheaper, better, or at least cleaner options. The wooden floor has cracks that let in many ants.

“Very nice place—I'd rate it 5/5.”

I stayed here with friends and it turned out to be one of our most relaxing and memorable trips. The resort currently has only one room, so it felt like the whole place was ours. The highlight was the sunset—absolutely breathtaking, like front‑row seats to nature’s best show. No need to go to Paliton. The private beach was perfect for unwinding and taking photos. The hosts were welcoming, and the dogs on the property added to the cozy, safe vibe. The location was peaceful yet still close to San Juan. The downside was the lack of signal and limited connectivity, which was a bit inconvenient at times—but it ultimately helped us truly unwind and unplug. It turned out to be a nice break from distractions.

The location is great, with a beautiful garden and a live sunset view. The large room has AC, a fan, and a terrace. It’s hyper‑calm, away from the road. The bedding is comfortable. I hesitated to book because the rating was 1! But one comment seemed a bit harsh. Indeed, there’s a missing sink, but we’re the type who can adapt. There are several dogs, and though I’m scared of them, they didn’t bark at all and were actually very friendly. The owner is rather reserved and speaks little English…just like us.

“Would not recommend:(”

The spot was in a decent location and the host was friendly, but the place was overrun with 4 or 5 dogs that were not only stinky but also aggressively barked at us every time we entered or exited the room and stayed outside our door. The listing said there was no wifi, and indeed there was no reception; even with a simcard you had to walk to the main road to get signal. There was no sink in the bathroom, which I’ve never seen before, and it felt dirty with ants and a horrible mattress. The room was right next to the shared kitchen and dining table, so we were woken by loud eating and music early in the morning. We left after one night, yet we still had to pay for the whole stay because it was non‑refundable.
