The building was clean and, although the room was small, it felt welcoming. Unfortunately the location was poor—the hotel sits right opposite a street where people sleep outdoors, litter piles up, and traffic is intense. The reception staff spoke almost no English. Our room was scorching hot and took at least half an hour to cool down with the air‑conditioner. There is a free laundry service, but the staff also use it for their own linens, so when we tried to use the dryer our load was unavailable because it was running for hours.

This hotel is so good and the staffs are so friendly and helpful (Hà Quy And Tuyết). It is a little noisy in the morning because there is a small market close to the hotel.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Hot water was an issue. Only one person in reception spoke English, so if she wasn’t there I had to use a translator app. It was confusing how the AC had a separate power button, which I constantly forgot to turn on. The entry was very narrow and invisible, right between the street market selling things. The area outside the hotel is small and dirty, which may be difficult to adjust to for some. There is no food in the hotel and nothing close nearby. Contrary to what it says, it is not next to the main tourist places; it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes to walk.

I like the hotel staff; Ms Jenny and Ms Iris went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. I liked the coffee machine in the room, the very comfortable bed, and the free laundry/dryer facility. The surroundings and the area didn't have the best gentrification—a lot of rubbish from the wet markets and shops next to the hotel.
