The interior space was large and fully equipped with laundry facilities, a kitchen, and plenty of supplies; the small cabin felt very vacation‑like, and parking was right next to the house, which was very convenient. Each guest received a one‑time ticket for the public bath, which required walking or driving to another building; those who dislike the public bath can use the bathtub in the room. The sleeping area uses tatami mats and mattresses, so if you’re traveling with elders, consider the difficulty of getting up from the floor.

The room is spacious! If it rains, you can turn off the AC and still grill indoors, which is great. The dishes and cooking tools were plentiful, which was a big help, and the included hot‑spring ticket was a nice bonus. Music, BBQ, and fireworks are allowed until 21:00, which is also appreciated! It’s not so much a negative as a caution for first‑time visitors: there are several campsites and it was confusing… I forgot that the front desk was at the hotel when I called. There are many horseflies, bees, and moths—so many that it’s surprising. By the evening they’re mostly gone, so if you’re coming during the day, bring insect spray for horseflies and bees. A bug spray for the room was available. Even if it rains a bit, a tarp will make outdoor BBQ more enjoyable. They said it’s okay to pick the pine needles. Parking varies by cottage, but there’s a larger lot a short walk away, so you can park multiple cars safely.

The spot is solid and the room works well, just wish the bathroom towels were stocked like everything else; that’s the only snag I spotted (or maybe we just missed where they’re kept).

My eight‑person family enjoyed a roomy table that let us eat comfortably, and the wheelchair‑accessible toilet and bed were handy for our grandma who uses a wheelchair. No complaints.
