“Super Unterkunft, aber...”
The accommodation was beautiful and truly modern. The woman who handled check‑in and ran the café was very friendly and helpful. The on‑site dinner was absolutely dreadful. The kitchen staff seemed hopelessly overwhelmed. When we realized we would have to wait longer for our meal, we chose a tomato soup and two sandwich baguettes. The soup was clearly canned, and the baguettes left us speechless. We felt utterly mocked. The quality was subpar—an up‑cooked baguette with a generous amount of mayonnaise, presented in a completely unappetizing way. Our appetite vanished instantly, to the point where we felt sick. We had spent the whole day traveling and were looking forward to a nice dinner, but it was very, very disappointing. The friendly woman who handled check‑in and ran the café worked until 10 pm and also in the restaurant. We complained about the food; she told us that other guests liked it, but we could not agree. For us, the prices made it an absolute catastrophe. The only homemade items were the cakes and tarts, which were delicious. A lovely accommodation, but a terrible kitchen. Breakfast was also not a highlight—quite a shame.
