The staff’s attention made me feel at home; upon arrival they gave me plenty of suggestions for exploring Akumal and tips on getting around the area, and they even let me stay a few extra hours on the last day since my flight left at 9 p.m. Excellent hotel. Nothing to complain about.

A small, no‑frills hotel right in the heart of the Pueblo with a downstairs restaurant and bar where you can eat and drink a beer on the sidewalk out front—it’s an incredible value for me. The rooms are basic: just a bed, TV, full bathroom, fridge, and a balcony—exactly what I need.

Its central location made it basic but a good value for money; the host was extremely helpful. The only downside was the many steps to reach the room, but that was offset by a small balcony and the chance to watch town life unfold.
