Nothing good. The management was awful: I had booked a two‑day stay and paid in advance, yet when I arrived they claimed there was no reservation. After showing all my emails they finally admitted the booking existed but then told us we could only stay one day and that we’d need to book a different hotel for the second day. The reception staff were rude, and this ruined my Manali trip – avoid this hotel if you’re looking for peace.

The location is fine, but the rooms felt cramped and poorly ventilated, making sleep suffocating. The bathrooms were stained, the taps had no foam flow and left clothes damp, the shower was clogged with lime scale, and the bedsheets and pillows had not been cleaned.

The staff were wonderful—prompt and professional—but the room service and the complimentary water bottles/tea had to be requested every day; they’re not provided automatically.

It’s a heritage property with a low crowd, good food, and very supportive staff, making it ideal for those who want a camp‑style stay. Access to the property is a bit concerning because we traveled by Tempo Traveller and it couldn’t reach the hotel due to the narrow road, but the management arranged cabs for us, so they took care of that.
