Breakfast was very good, as was dinner – both highly recommended. Friendly staff, and from the hotel room on the castle we had a fantastic view. Everything was very clean, making for an overall pleasant stay.

Super friendly service, excellent breakfast, and a nice room in a “castle.” Nothing to complain about.

A clean, quiet room in a well‑restored castle with a great panoramic view over the countryside. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast and meals were great, and there’s a butcher shop included with the inn. We can only recommend the Burggasthof Hauptmann. The castle tower next to the guesthouse offers a fantastic 306° view over the whole country.

Very nice hotel and equally friendly staff. Breakfast was more than sufficient, and the dinner at the restaurant was good. The only downside was the limited number of parking spaces in front of the hotel, but there are parking options in town, though the walk to the hotel is quite steep (about 150 m).
