“Gerne wieder”
A nice motel located close to the street, yet the rooms were quiet. Everything was clean and the breakfast offered a sufficient selection of foods. Parking was right in front of the property.

My room was very spacious and on the ground floor, just as I had requested. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a continental spread, not many protein options but many different items, and there was a waffle maker that was really nice. The only downside was that the bed frame creaked a bit when you got up, but that seemed like a petty complaint, especially since I was alone.

The location is great.

The room had a microwave. The breakfast and the bed structure were extremely noisy.

I’m seriously annoyed with my stay because the ads are wildly deceptive. The place is advertised as a “hotel,” yet it’s an old‑style drive‑up motel where the room doors open straight onto the parking lot. If I’d known it was a motel, I would never have booked. Things I liked: the spot is right off Highway 1, so it’s a convenient stop if you’re just passing through Kamloops; the front desk crew were polite, accommodating, and pleasant during check‑in; the rooms are fairly roomy and come with a fridge, microwave, and decent Wi‑Fi. Problems: the website completely misrepresents the layout—expecting interior hotel corridors and getting exterior motel doors is a major bait‑and‑switch; the rooms feel tired and dated, with worn furniture, dull décor, and thin wall insulation that lets you hear a lot of noise from the parking lot and neighboring rooms; the complimentary continental breakfast is very basic and underwhelming—just a few muffins and coffee, so you’re better off elsewhere for breakfast.
