Lake Life Hotel

I was pleased with the price compared to what I actually received, but the staff struggled with English and communication was poor. Everything else was fine.

“Beautiful location on the lake, and very restful, at least in September.”

The breakfast was good and the location was excellent, yet the staff should try to speak at least a few words in English; I stayed here twice and there was no English at all.

The location is great. The front desk is unhelpful, the room wasn’t cleaned properly and a dangerous object on the floor could have caused injuries; the room wasn’t maintained. I asked for a new AC remote battery and they ignored many requests. There aren’t enough staff at the property, and the value for money is very bad.

The only bright side of our two‑night stay was that the room faced the lake; otherwise the room was tiny, filthy and the breakfast was downright poor. To eat you even had to leave the hotel and go to the restaurant in the courtyard, which was very disappointing. The room’s dirt was evident – the shower was especially grimy, the floor was covered in dust, and the breakfast was unacceptable.

I was initially pleased with the hotel's location and secure car park, as well as the friendly staff. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived as I discovered that several facilities were in a state of disrepair and needed modernization. The breakfast room was even flooded, and the dinner quality was disappointing, with staff service that lacked attentiveness. Despite the hotel's potential, these issues detracted from my overall experience.
