The price was attractive in the second half of March—8 € per night—so the value for money is decent. The downside was that the bed creaked, the air‑heat pump was off, and the outdoor kitchen had no gas, so food couldn’t be cooked.

If you want to experience authentic Sri Lankan culture, stay here; the entire Mirissa family runs it, the rooms are immaculate, fully equipped, and exceptionally clean. Whenever we needed advice or a service, they were always ready to help. We spent a lot of time chatting with them, and after four days we decided to extend our stay. The peaceful countryside and the genuine cultural experience we gained from them were truly special.
