“Experiencia nefasta”
We couldn't use the pool because it was raining, but it looked fine; the rooms were damp and the sheets were dirty; worst of all, the hotel manager scammed us twice. First, when we asked him for a tuk‑tuk to a bar 4 km away, he said the normal price was 2000 rupees; we paid that, then when we wanted to return and talked to another tuk‑tuk driver, he said 500 was super good. The hotel owner had arranged with a friend to charge us 2000 and keep 1000; I figured that out because when I checked out I had no change and the only bill he had was a 1000 rupee note, identical to the one I’d given the tuk‑tuk the night before. The second scam happened because we didn’t ask; he made us dinner, a rice and curry that was pretty good, but we didn’t ask the price. We’d seen it elsewhere range 1200‑1500 rupees per person, yet at checkout we were charged 2300 rupees per person. It’s not a good place, and the owner tries to overcharge you for everything. Look for better options.
