The experience and the way the community members treated me, along with María’s communication and patience, were incredibly helpful since I had never been there before. She helped coordinate my transport, handled breakfast, and overall I loved the stay and would return. Even when I forgot my jacket, María helped me retrieve it.

The view was stunning, the staff were fantastic, and the activities were great. We liked almost everything, but there were power outages and it would have helped to have more candles or a flashlight on hand. The electricity was restored and everything returned to normal thanks to the staff.

The hosts were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure and hot water. The location was very quiet. The room was cold because, like everywhere in Ecuador, there is no heating. We did receive enough blankets and a portable heater, so it ended up warm enough. The room smelled strongly of incense – you have to like that.
