I needed a clean bed for a brief one‑night stay while riding the Mae Hong Son loop, and it did the job; the room was actually quite spacious, though I think I got a quirky “fan” room because the other rooms in the concrete block next door were probably a bit nicer. The night weather was fine—cool and pleasant—but the bed had the classic “U” shape from years of use, which was a bit odd, though I was too tired to care. The hot water shower was nice and the mini‑fridge was great. The place was super close to everything: the market, walking street, 7‑11s, the lake, the mountain view from the temple way up top, and right off the main highway. The step down into the room is a killer, very weird and unnatural, and I almost fell and hurt myself; the same issue exists down into the bathroom, so you need to be careful not to slip on the wet tile. The “U”‑shaped bed mattress could be replaced with a newer one.

The location was good, but we booked a room with a fan and initially received a room whose entire wall was moldy and smelled awful. The manager refused to move us to another room because there were no other fan rooms left and said that if we wanted a vacant room with an AC we’d have to pay extra. We were already planning to move elsewhere, but fortunately another guest sleeping in a similar room to the one we ordered decided to switch rooms so we didn’t have to pay more. We were disappointed with the manager’s attitude and service.
