We enjoyed the spa and bowling, and breakfast was pretty good and varied.

The rooms feel very old‑fashioned for a four‑star hotel; dirty walls, an unclean bathroom, and worn furniture are noticeable. Breakfast options are limited, and the price is too high for what’s offered.

Breakfast was good, improving over the two days: the first morning had excellent traditional salads, the second was weaker. The quiet setting and proximity to attractions were appreciated, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was also good, with plenty of leisure activities like pools, a play area, and bowling. The room, booked without spa access (despite the listing saying it was under maintenance), was a three‑star clean room, but the hallway had many dead flies.
