It seemed all good, but not 5 stars. The breakfast was fine, the biggest variety of pastries and desserts of the trip. The pool was great on a hot day. The bed was convenient. The views were beautiful. It wasn’t quite 5 stars. Two towels per person was not enough even to dry hair separately. In the wine room there were no glasses in the room, wine could only be poured into regular water glasses. In the restaurant we didn’t see it, heard reviews were not very good. The sauna seemed cold to my husband. The parking had to walk with luggage. The mountain was not very pleasant.
The price was 5‑star, but the service felt 2‑3‑star. Overall experience was 3/10. Problems began at check‑in. The listing defaulted to one guest, and unless you notice it carefully, you later find out there is an extra charge for the second guest. We were told there was a European rooftop restaurant, so we planned our evening around it. Only when we arrived were we told it was closed for a private event and we had to use another, much more casual restaurant. The food was good, but the communication was poor. The worst part came after checkout. We had called in advance and specifically asked whether we could use the spa afterward. We were told yes, as long as we wanted, so we planned our day accordingly. After checkout, reception suddenly told us the limit was three hours. For a five‑star hotel, this level of inconsistency is simply not acceptable. The positives: beautiful facilities, very clean, well maintained, and good food. Unfortunately, good facilities do not make up for poor communication and service that does not match the price. 3/10. I would not return.

The view was nice, the welcome and our anniversary treat were appreciated, the spa was good, the ambience was pleasant, and breakfast was fine. The dining room looked like a canteen in parts and the meal was delivered to us at odd times. We’re used to the main courses arriving at the same time. It was apologised for, though, and some fruit was given as compensation.
