The location is great and the houses are built in a unique way—tree‑houses that feel instantly homey thanks to the friendly host and family; renting a scooter or bike is hassle‑free, and our host even drove us to the pier when we had to leave; everything was super.

The hosts were absolutely lovely, greeting us right at the harbor and picking us up. The houses are stunningly beautiful and impeccably clean, with a large terrace overlooking a rice field—truly breathtaking. The only downside is that on Koh Yao Noi you need to be mobile; however, the kind hosts also let you borrow a scooter directly.

The location is fantastic, right in the green. One day we even spotted a hornbill right from our balcony, and there’s no street noise. The little house is beautifully designed, everything spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful, even picking us up from the pier and dropping us back off later. With a bike or scooter, the island is easily explored from Kunna House. We felt very at home and would gladly return! We were quite satisfied overall.

The setting was absolutely gorgeous, with comfortable beds and a relaxing vibe. We loved the nighttime chorus of cicadas and frogs that helped us fall asleep, and the host rented us a scooter to explore the island. Koh Yao Noi is worth spending a couple of days on, especially if you find the right guide. The only caveat is that you’ll need a scooter to get around—this quiet area doesn’t let you just pop out to shops and restaurants. It’s lovely to be so remote, just something to keep in mind!
