Gîte avec son SPA privatif

I spent a night here after a long motorcycle ride from Guise to Hirson, and the lakefront campsite was stunning. The owner prepared a heated bath with wood fire, creating a very calm setting. The cabin itself was nice and fairly spacious, though most of the time we stayed in the Jacuzzi. Service was flawless: a charcuterie and cheese platter for the evening, a homemade chicon salad, and breakfast left on the terrace early in the morning. I’d suggest the host offer bakery bread next time to add even more charm; we’ll be back to try the dome.

Everything was perfect! We spent the night from 27 to 28 June during a massive storm, and the staff went above and beyond even in the storm to make sure we had nothing serious or needed help.

The traditional wooden log cabin had beautiful furnishings and a well‑equipped kitchen, and I liked everything—it was perfect.

Set in a green oasis beside the castle of the Conte of Paris and the lake of Condé, each house has its own spa bath, making it an excellent spot for a short stay or family holiday; the reception lady was very friendly and helpful, though the linen quality could improve and the large space sometimes makes Wi‑Fi weak, yet it remains a wonderful choice.
