The location was spot on, the cabins surprisingly good, and a real paradise for kids—nothing to complain about given the type of accommodation.

From the outside it looked shabby and run down, yet inside we were surprised it was actually all right. The kitchen was functional but poorly equipped, with no kitchen towels or waste bags. The check‑in was very confusing. The restaurant and the huts could not be accessed by the same road. The room descriptions were inaccurate; the huts had a toilet but the showers were about 500 m away, and the staff were very impolite and gave no explanations, so you had to figure out by yourself which key opened which door and where the showers were. The guy at the restaurant was stressed out and rude. The whole place could be nice but lacks care and love. Unfortunately.

“Slechte hygiëne”

The reception was fine, but the entire accommodation was filthy: the floor was so dirty that you stuck to it in some places, and there was a lot of grime and dust in the corners and under the beds. To clean it we would have needed an even dirtier broom. The mattresses and pillows were full of yellow stains, and the sheets were torn and had spots. We had booked two nights, but after an hour trying to look through it, we called our next destination to see if we could arrive earlier. The next morning we left immediately.

The location and environment were good, but it’s a pity there’s no road to the hotel’s cabins. The shelters are fairly far away. The blankets and pillows needed washing, and the bedding was torn with stains. Around the cabin we were swarmed by maggots.
