The place is secure, has off‑road parking, and the host is very helpful. There was nothing to dislike; the venue is truly central, ideal for the Menin Gate ceremony and for the many bars and restaurants in town.

The place sat in one of the squares, offering amazing views from the bedroom over beautiful buildings, and it was conveniently located near attractions such as the Menin Gate. Our room and bathroom were on the second floor, reachable by lift or stairs. The furnishings were nice, and our host Sophia had clearly invested a lot in the decor. The bed was huge and comfortable, the shower was excellent, and we could park our car in a private garage on the ground floor, so we didn’t need to drive around. This is one of the loveliest accommodations we’ve used and we’d gladly recommend it. There was nothing to dislike from our perspective.

“Great location with secure parking.”

The location was great and the parking was secure, but it was a warm night and the room had no air conditioning. We left the window open and the locals were noisy until the early hours. We also arrived later than expected and couldn’t access our room.

The location was jaw‑dropping with direct views of the cathedrals, a wonderful spot. I couldn’t figure out the left‑hand window—does it need to stay open all the time?
