“Zauberhaftes Kleinod”
We returned a second time to the houseboat Skoft in Grou. It’s a wonderful place to relax. There’s nowhere cozier for rain :-) There’s really nothing to complain about.

A truly peaceful spot, though the boat’s gentle sway took a moment to get used to, especially with the bad weather we faced. The view of the water was gorgeous, and the owner was incredibly friendly. We’ll definitely return when the weather’s better, and the bed and pillows were simply fantastic.

Cozy, snug, and comfy—perfect for a short romantic getaway. The marina view and the village of Grou, with boats moving, were delightful. Mosquito nets (since we’re on the water) kept the bugs away. However, the room lacked sufficient blackout curtains; it was already bright early in the spring. Adding a microwave (perhaps built into one of the wardrobes?) would be handy, as there are only two stovetops on the stove.

Janne is a host who’s always there for guests and greets them personally, something we truly appreciated. The ski‑fart is ideal if you want to treat yourself to something special.
