The hotel's location was also ideal, situated in a safe neighborhood close to the metro and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower.

The night receptionist was friendly and welcoming, but the breakfast buffet wasn’t ready until 7:10 am and the bread and pastries arrived piecemeal; a pity.

The hotel’s surroundings are very calm and relaxing. The staff were always attentive, especially at breakfast. The courtyard patio is more beautiful and spacious than the street-facing ones, making it more welcoming. Everything else at the accommodation was great. The only issue was when I asked for a taxi to pick us up in the morning for Paris Nord station. The driver said he didn’t accept cards, only cash, which was fine. The problem arose when we arrived minutes before the change; the meter jumped from 22 euros to 38 euros, the driver shouted loudly and fiddled with the meter. In the end we had to stop and he let us leave at a corner a block from the station. I recommend that if you request a taxi from the hotel, you verify it’s a reputable company.
The water pressure was great and I loved the AESOP products, and the staff were professional.
