Nothing at all, the worst room you can book. First, you pay in advance and a day before you’re told you must sit elsewhere – okay, that can happen. Second, you’re placed in a room where the wallpaper is peeling and damaged, the bathroom and air‑conditioner are moldy, the bed is as hard as the floor, everything feels dirty. This was in the Vatican Treseur. Third, you can only reach them via WhatsApp; if you try calling nobody answers. You go to the reception of the Vacitan Inn and nobody is there. There are enough “cleaners” walking around. Apparently someone behind the bookings and a phone is there, but picking up is too much. You have to walk to the reception, literally one door away.

Very convenient location. The staff emailed us a day before arrival saying we’d been moved to another location 5 min from the original spot without any proper explanation. We went to the suggested place and the room wasn’t what we were paying for. We refused to stay there and were told at first to cancel and find another place, ignoring that we’d booked months in advance. When we declined to leave, they offered our original room. This caused unnecessary stress at the start of our holiday with no further explanations.

The accommodation is very well located, with supermarkets and shops very close, and the service was very good.

“Short but sweet.”

We were told the night before that our reservation had been messed up, so we ended up staying somewhere else that the hotel had arranged for us. The new room looked almost identical and met all the standards – it was clean, roomy, and the front‑desk lady was lovely. The only downside was that we weren’t sure if we could use the elevator, so we had to climb up to the 4th floor with our suitcases, which was a bit of a hassle.
