Hotel Cleopatra Pyramids View

The first time, the roof views and breakfast were good. The second time, they tried to cheat us. I paid through Booking, probably didn’t please the owner. Upon arrival they lied about there being no light and offered another hotel, overcharging further, a hole, no view, a few dollars more. But the electricity was there, as it should be – I have photos. 😃 damn it, Mary. Scammers, a waste of nerves. There are plenty of great hotels at a similar price that don’t cheat. I don’t recommend it.

While I appreciated the hotel's convenient location near the Giza entrance and enjoyed the good view at sunset, I was disappointed by the lack of maintenance. The hotel itself is small, but it needs better upkeep to meet guest expectations.

The breathtaking view was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay, and I was blown away when I entered my room and saw the massive window and the incredible view of the pyramids and the sphinx. It was more than I had expected to end my Egyptian trip on a high note, and the hotel's location right in front of the sphinx's entrance was a major bonus.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was marred by numerous issues. Despite booking a month in advance, I was told that I had cancelled my reservation, and I was transferred to a lower-quality hotel that seemed to be falling apart. The second hotel had crumbling walls, damp everywhere, and poor cleanliness. I was also charged for a coffee on the terrace despite having a credit from my booking. The hotel's lobby was a mess, and the staff's behavior was unprofessional.
