There was plenty of space in the accommodation. The address was wrong. In addition, the apartment is noticeably aged. Because of its proximity to the airport, it is also very loud. It would be better to choose a place in Ponta Delgada. From the city to the airport there is a fixed-price taxi. There the value for money is probably better.

The spot is ideal near the airport if you don't have a car, clean and spacious. The host replies immediately to WhatsApp messages and that is very appreciated. The directions via the map on Booking and Google AI for walking are completely wrong! You cannot walk across the main road! About 25 minutes, but the timing is right. The bedding was a bit hard for our taste and especially the pillows are not at all comfortable, they are padded with large pieces.

Being just a stone's throw from the airport made it a solid choice for a layover, especially when I was stuck between flights; the property itself is massive, giving plenty of space for everything, and the Wi‑Fi was consistently reliable and handy. However, it's noticeably distant from Ponta Delgada, so if you're planning to explore the city you might want to look elsewhere; the value for money isn't great, a bit pricey but that's typical for the Azores.

The place felt a bit cold and smelled heavily of bleach, as if it had been cleaned just minutes before we arrived at 21:00; it was just enough to spend a night close to the airport, nothing more.
