Hotel Terzo Crotto, in Cernobbio's centre, is a charming farmhouse surrounded by a garden, 400 metres from Lake Como's shores. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with simple wood furniture, marble floors, and flat-screen TVs. It offers free WiFi, an Italian restaurant, and wine list. Staff provides ski equipment storage. Villa d'Este is a 10-minute walk away, and Como Nord exit is 3 km away.

The restaurant in the historic setting is fabulous. Nothing else.

Very well located, with transport access within a few minutes of walking, a bus stop for Como, and a ferry dock. We also tried the restaurant, which offers excellent dishes. The only drawback for us was that we couldn’t get an invoice for our stay despite requesting it on the site before arrival and again at departure; we’re still waiting for the promised email—what a pity.

I met friendly staff, the spot was already familiar to us, a nice walk to the lake, plenty of parking, and the building felt authentic. Dinner was again delicious, with good open wine. We’ll gladly return as our first stop in Italy. We were very satisfied here… a softly cooked egg at breakfast.

The location is perfect, close to the center. There is a large parking lot (but it’s paid). The breakfast buffet is good. There is a bit of mess in some parts of the building.
