The breakfast was missing. The lights were broken and the blanket felt a bit old.

I booked a night with a friend for the 18th to the 19th of February, weeks in advance. The booking appeared open and possible, and I even received a message to pay extra because we planned to arrive between 5 and 6 pm. On the day, the doors were shut, the lights off, the reception closed, and no one was there. I called and learned they were closed due to a holiday, which I understand, but why let me book a room and then tell me you’re closed when I’m in front of the place? That was poor service and management. I was lucky it was only 6 pm, so I could book something else quickly.

It was smelly, there was no hot water (or it was difficult to use), and the room was old and dirty.

The staff were extremely kind; if you have a problem, just ask them. We liked the location, which was 40–45 min on foot from the old quarter, and the Temple of Literature was only 10 min on foot. Thank you!
