Being able to stay with my dogs and the treatment I received were great. However, there were some bugs in the room.

The reservation was cancelled when I arrived and no assistance was offered to resolve it. Fortunately, the front‑desk manager found me another place. They said the room wasn’t available, but I’m sure it wasn’t due to price gouging from the eclipse 🤣🖖. I had no room despite booking well in advance, and the service was worse than useless, to be honest.

We stumbled into a gorgeous spot tucked in a mountainous part of the country, and Jose went above and beyond to make sure we were settled comfortably after a late arrival caused by travel delays. The place was perfect for watching the eclipse on my birthday, thanks to Jose’s spot suggestion, and when we came back I was met with a cheesecake and a “happy birthday” in both English and Spanish, making us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay.

I booked this overnight stay halfway through the afternoon while traveling, and everything seemed fine at first with a confirmation in hand. A few hours later, during the next stop, the reservation was suddenly cancelled. I called, panicked a little, but nobody spoke English and the place was full; no assistance was offered to find a solution, leaving a bad aftertaste.
