The cottage is cozy and just right for two people, and its proximity to the airport and the island’s top attractions is a real plus. Paying in cash with local currency was a bit of a hassle.

The location is indescribable, within walking distance of the city center and harbor. The small house feels very cozy, and Ellef is the friendliest, most helpful host I’ve met. I had forgotten that only cash was accepted, so I didn’t have enough money on me; she drove me to the nearest ATM because none exist in the town. Another time she helped me when the taxi service misdirected me and I almost missed my flight. The house is lovingly decorated. The only downside is there’s no restaurant, just a café that closes early in the evening, but that’s not the property’s fault.

This tiny house right on the harbor is probably the best spot to stay in Sörvagur. The kitchen and bathroom are small but adequate, and everything in town is easily reachable on foot. We’ll definitely come back, and parking is available right in front of the house. Nothing to complain about!

I loved this gem of a place. The only thing I wish was more instructions.

A really charming place, close to the airport. The small house was compact but met all our needs, and we stayed there for 11 nights. The owners live next door, so we felt well looked after, yet discreet and unobtrusive. They even helped us in an emergency by washing our clothes after a muddy trek. There was nothing that could be called a downside.
