“Buena estadía”

The place was solid – clean rooms and the staff were genuinely friendly. It’s only about a ten‑minute stroll from Caracoles street, which was handy for getting around. The only thing that bugged me was the lack of power sockets right by the bed.

This hostel sits just a fifteen‑minute walk from the town’s main road, with a few shops and eateries right around the corner. My room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfy; breakfast was simple but tasty. The staff were super pleasant, which made the stay feel welcoming.

“Large room short distance from center, attentive staff”

The hostesses were attentive and the included breakfast was a nice perk. Our room was spacious with plenty of hangers, and the laundry service was quick and convenient. It did feel a little warm for summer, but the ceiling and table fans kept it bearable at night.

The two ladies running the hostel were really nice and paid attention to everything we needed. Our double room had no window and got a bit warm, though the ceiling fan helped, and you could hear noises from other rooms when some guests got loud. The neighborhood itself is quiet, so overall it was fine and I’d stay there again.

“Oasis in the desert 🏜”

The hostel was spotless and comfortable, and the owner was incredibly kind—checking each night if we wanted breakfast and even handing us ibuprofen when we got altitude sickness after hiking Cerro Toco. There’s a great local eatery, La Conchana, right across the street and a grocery store next door. The only downsides were a weak hot‑water flow when several people showered and the fact that the main street in Caracoles is about a ten‑minute walk away.
