The breakfast was very good, but we absolutely despised the check‑in. A guy on a television screen handled it, he was friendly but his English was poor and the whole process dragged on too long!!! My husband and I swore we would never stay at a place that used that kind of check‑in again.

The beds had black bugs and crumbs all over them, forcing us to ask for a top sheet to cover the bed and we ended up sleeping on top. There was no hot water.

I didn’t stay at that hotel; I stayed at a different one in Hiawatha. There was a mix‑up when I booked our stay and I was trying to say it was in Hiawatha, but I ended up with a Manchester City reservation. I paid for it in advance, we didn’t stay there, and I haven’t received my money back yet. I never saw the reservation.
