We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the guest house. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, making us feel at home. The rooms were spacious yet cozy, with beautiful garden views. Breakfast was superb, and the hosts also cooked dinners for us when requested.

The property was wonderful and comfortable, and its location—walking straight from the door onto Dartmoor—was exactly what we wanted. There was nothing to dislike.

It was a very relaxing stay. No noise, which was great, and it was lovely to walk from the property to Scorhill Stone Circle. The property sits in a scenic part of Dartmoor, and the views were great as we walked to the Stone Circle. The sofa bed in the lounge was quite comfortable for our son, but if you are over 6ft it could be a problem. The drive to the property through narrow country lanes was a bit challenging, but that’s the price for being in a remote spot!

The property was wonderfully peaceful and impossibly cute. Christopher prepared a meal worthy of a top restaurant; taste and presentation were faultless. Plenty of parking space and free to wander around the extensive grounds. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue. The annexe would benefit from a couple of place mats—a trivial comment, really.
