The breakfast was adequate and the location was excellent, just a short walk from the trolley and a variety of restaurants. I’d rather stay on the first floor, but the stairs weren’t a huge issue. I’d love a table in my room for breakfast, but none was available.

The building’s charm and Tom’s team were very attentive, welcoming, and helpful. Maison Perrier is well situated in a quiet, safe spot. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the linens smelled wonderfully fresh. Breakfast was good, and they offered small pastries to nibble on throughout the day. The shared air‑conditioning system meant the temperature couldn’t be set individually, leading to a “thermostat war” where those who wanted more cool air got priority. Tom managed to upgrade us to a higher‑class room with neighbors who were a bit chilly. Planning breakfast for the next day was tricky because appetite could vary, but we understand a buffet isn’t ideal for the setting.

Maison Perrier ranks among the best bed‑and‑breakfasts I’ve visited. It feels like a home away from home, and the hosts treat every guest with great care. Breakfast is fresh, and they text you about nearby jazz events. The rooms are spacious. Nothing to complain about—I loved everything!
